FarmVille also released an extensive amount of new avatar clothing on the October 19, 2010 update. Remember, you can preview the look on your farmer by clicking "? Try On".  

Clothing purchases go towards earning your "Style Maven" ribbons.

Tip #1: Switching the gender of you avatar will allow you to purchase coin clothes for that sex. That allows you to earn the blue ribbon without spending any precious Farm Cash.

Tip #2: When buying a hat for your farmer, look to see if your hairstyle is too big. You may have to go with a shorter version. Bushier hair sticks up over the top of the hat.
